All he wanted was to find some kind of peace. To get through the mare's shell that she has up. Just something inside of her was holding that shell firm and going no where. Her words were sharp and right to the point. Though something within his hears kind of grew ever so weak. His pillars just wanting to fall down to the ground. He felt so weak deep down inside that he did not know what to do. Watching as she took her figure back to the watering spot. With his head turning and watching her as she spoke to him after falling to the ground with her figure. For her next words seem to hit him home.
The flames upon the crest of his neck and the flames that grew for a tail begin to intensify as he stood there and glared down at her figure. His head tossing back and forth as he looked around him. Eyes growing deep with anger within them as he glared down at her with his thorns now pinned upon his skull further than what they had ever done since they began to talk to one another.
His pillars moving down towards her as he came down to her side for only a moment. "So you think this was a waste." He said in a low cruel voice as he looked to the water than looked over towards her. With his eyes locked on her. He turned and lunged towards her. Grabbing her by her mane and slamming her into the ground. His thorns still tightly pinned upon his figure as his large mass held her down and her pearls let go of her mane as he looked down at her figure.
"SO YOU THINK THIS IS A FUCKING WASTE OF TIME. WELL DAMN GREAT POINT GENIUS. I'M SORRY YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WITH A FUCKED UP LIFE STYLE. DO YOU THINK I WANTED TO BE THIS. YET I AM STUCK WITH IT. I CAN'T CHANGE IT. I CAN'T TAKE WHAT I DID BACK. I CAN'T DO SHIT ABOUT YOURS EITHER. NO ONE CAN. And I stopped to see what the hell a gorgeous mare is doing out here by herself. With no one with her in this place. Oh that's right you don't give two shit about anything in your fucked up life style. I know your mother fucked you up royally as a filly but doesn't mean you need to keep on like you are and yet you are still doing it." His words were violent and cruel right to the touch of them. His figure glowing so bright that it looked as if the sun was coming up over the land. His body still pinning her down to the ground to where she would not be able to move or even try to get up even if she wanted to get up.
"GOD DAMN! Can't you just open your fucking eyes and see that you have some out here that actually gives a damn about you? I mean seriously and don't you even say a fucking word that is negative. Keep it in your fucking little skull. And you know what. If you think your life is so fucked. Why didn't you jump when your mom said to kill yourself. Yes, you think I don't know you, but I have been around for ever now and I've watched everyone and their lives fal right in front of my eyes. SO DONT THINK I DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT YOU!" He screamed at her. His mind going crazy. His weight still not shifting, not even a muscle within his body rippled as he looked down at her with his thorns still pinned upon his head.

The mare's eyes slowly turned to him as he kneeled by her, hinting the harshness that was to come only a bit too late. Being slammed into the ground hurt, and quickly she felt an aching that wouldn't go away any time soon in the deep tissues of her shoulder, and the inside of her head. Her eyes found themselves closed momentarily, absorbing the shock of it all as he yelled at her. Something about his voice, although so close, seemed so distant. Simply too much to take in at once. His body was beginning to crush her, the weight almost suffocating. Yet, it wasn't him that was keeping her from breathing regularly. At least, not really. So he did know about her, did he? That made things more interesting, and even now the waters of emotion in her chest splashed crazily. "So what? You're here to save me? Be my knight in shining armor?" Tears had already begun to threaten her composure, and Riatha felt her face get hot as they spilled over the rims of her eyes. Despite them, her voice was eerily calm, all be it unsteady- waving in tone as she cried. "I couldn't have jumped then. I was a coward, and didn't know what a lonely existence I had yet to live. Had I had known I wouldn't have to face all this now." The words were coming so quickly that she hardly had time to ponder them. A trait unfamiliar, as she spent most of her time picking over the words to use. "You think I can be saved? A lowly wretch like me? Tell me then, where should I start?" Her voice, softer now, struggled against whatever pride she had left as she was pinned to the ground by someone far bigger than herself. But Riatha didn't resist. There was no point to that. She had let her guard down, and she was experiencing a sort of pain she had never felt before because of it. Closing her eyes and lowering her ears dejectedly, she suddenly wished she could be any where else but there. The emotion that flooded her now was too much, and she wanted so desperately to forget.

His orbs looked down to the mare with his thorns pinned upon his skull. Seeing that he finally hit some point in her brain. For she was now showing something more than the harshness that was planted within her skull. Eyes watching her for a moment as he knew that she was probably struggling for a bit of some air, but he had not moved yet. Listening to the words that she said as they flowed into his thorns. The words seemed to definitely different than they were before. It seemed that he had hit his mark and she had no anger within her mind once again.
Snorting as he had the words, 'Be my knight in shining armor?' Well truly yes he was a knight at a certain point in time, but he was not that kind of knight since he has yet to do any kind of good deed in his life time. Flickering his thorns as he gave a soft laugh at her words. Her words were well a bit truthful. Shifting his gaze all over her figure as he stayed in one place.
"I am no knight in shining armor. Plus why would I tell you any of my tricks that I have. That would just give away the things that I want to do." He said with a loud snort following after that. Seeing that one point in her life she was a coward back in her younger days and had changed into this mare she is now. Which is not how she should have lived her life. Perking his thorns as he just shook his skull side to side as he closed his orbs for a moment.
His body quickly moving off of hers and a not moving from where he stood as he looked down at her figure upon the ground. Having his thorns perked and watching her carefully to see just what she was going to do and thinking of the next words to say to her as he stood there for a moment. "Plus I'm not going to tell you what you need to do just to start the good life. You have to figure that out and accept that for yourself." He said as he took his gaze down to where she laid. Knowing that he did some kind of damage to her mind and that was probably all that he did. Just Styrr wanted to make his point and yet this was the only way that it came down to doing.

Upon being released Riatha did little more than sit up and resume the position she had had earlier. Her tears were quickly drying themselves as a somberness fell over her. Suddenly the chill that she had brought on herself made her shiver. So as she laid there, staring into the water, the mare slowly felt the numbness that accompanied the moments after being emotionally beaten. She was suddenly very, very tired. And cold. Another sensation that she was so normally used to braving. "What are your plans now, stallion? Now that you've found a crack in my castles walls? Surely you don't intend to stay here, with an emotionally battered mare?" Riatha felt no hostility, and perhaps didn't care what he did. Of course, some seedling inside of her wanted him to stay. Yet, how much easier would the rest of life be, if he were to leave and allow her to crawl back into her shell? The aching in her shoulder and head persisted, causing her eyelids to flutter disdainfully. What a wreck she was, just like when she had first showed up to this small oasis as a young filly. It dawned on her how quickly history repeated itself, and Riatha wasn't sure if she liked it. To her, she was still the companionless equines she was before. Only now she wasn't able to hide how she felt about it. At least, not yet. If Styrr decided to leave her, in time she'd build that armor again, and leave it stronger than it had been before.

His eyes looked up to the sky as he took in a deep breath and looked up to the sky. Letting his orbs slowly closed them. His breathing slowed and his mind cleared. The fires upon his figure slowed down into the way they were suppose to be when she was around mortals. Turning and looking down to the mare as he saw that he truly broke her. Listening to her words as she spoke them to him. Hearing the words as she asked what he had planned to go and do. The words that came from her mouth kind of hit home again. For he had messed her up again. With his mind not fuzzy and running through with anger. His head lowering as he stood there.
His pillars once again trimbling under him as he stood there. Perking his thorns high on his head as he looked over towards where she was. "I have no plans, mare. And I do plan to stick around. I'm sorry that you are battered again. I did not want to do that. An yet I did do that. Guess I let my anger get to me again." He said softly as he motioned his figure away from her and stood on the other side of the water and looked up to the sky again. Taking in a deep breath into his nares slowly as he stood there. Motioning his banner side to side in thought as he watched the stars. "If I could change your past. Then I would just so that you could have had a better future. I know that I have been an ass hole to you, but I did not want to be that to you." His head slowly dropped as he looked down to the ground below. "An yet. I went that far to do it and did not want to do that. I'm sorry that I care for you more than you realize it. You are just one of a kind mare that I wish I knew long ago. Maybe I would not be like this and I would be a bit happier than before." He said with a soft sigh as he turned and looked back towards her.

Riatha couldn't help but take his words as a lie. He was a god, he couldn't stick around forever. She disregarded this now, for in that moment it didn't mean so much. For now, he was here, and that's all she could focus on. The mare's future was uncertain now, and the feeling of being lost was creeping upon her. Lifting her eyes from the still waters, the black mare let herself see him as he was for the first time since they had met. A stallion who may have seen the evils of life and had every reason to be a hateful creature, but chose to help her instead. Rising to her feet slowly, another shiver ran through her as the wind hit her pelt. When he turned to her again, she had already walked to his side of the water and stood next to him, looking into the night sky. Reaching outwards with something so much deeper than the muzzle that represented it, the ebony mare hesitantly touched his cheek. It had been a long time since she had made contact with someone else, and the feeling was odd to her. "I forgive you." Riatha uttered quietly, looking into his eyes with the same lack of fear that she had first met him with. This time, however, her eyes glistened with the emotions that she was now able to feel and relate to him. This world that she had entered so quickly was different, and strange. She felt as though a newborn, just realizing the immense diversity that would accompany her in her journeys. The shriveled up seed that was her soul, that had laid dormant for so long, was beginning to shake with life, trembling as a single leaf sprouted from its shell. Maybe in time it would grow larger, but for now the hardest feat had been accomplished.

Thorns perked high on his head when he saw that her ebony figure came over to where he stood at. His globes watching her as she looked up to the sky that covered this land that they walked upon. Shifting his weight as he felt her touch his cheek. With his orbs looking over to her and his skull not moving from where it was as they stood there. Letting his head shift as he heard her words come into his thorns. Giving her a soft smile as he looked at her. Thorns perked high as he gave her a soft smile as he lowered his skull to where she stood to show her that he was not a threat to her. No matter how odd he was. He wanted her to be happy and fought like hell to show her that she was important.
His eyes gazing over to her with a soft look in them. "I hope you truly do. I might be a God and I have duties, but I'd love to be able to have my down time with a beautiful creature such as yourself. To protect you from all. Since all you have to do is call for me an I will run right to your aid as fast as my daggers can carry me." He said softly as he slowly moved his mug near her figure. Slowly pressing his muzzle against the side of hers gently. Trying not to poke her with the horns that were plastured on the side ofh his neck. Sigh as he slowly moved his head away from her and looking down to the ground instead of the sky.
"That is only if you wish to put up with a monster like myself. Though that is the choice I am letting you take. If you truly want me gone this time. I will walk away and never turn back." He said softly with no lie behind them. His heart acking and ready for the disappointment that his mind is use to taking. Though he was unsure of what she was going to do. Was she going to bring herself with him and be the true center of his world. The place that he wished for her to ever be in.

The sensation of a butterfly's wings in her chest made her feel uneasy, though not necessarily in a bad way. Shifting her weight from one hoof to the other, she pulled her muzzle away from his and looked out across the desert. Night had fallen so completely, and little critters snaked their way through the sands. Riatha pondered silently to herself, as most her realizations happened in the crevices of her own mind. She had never been one for a lot of conversation, and when she spoke she spoke directly to her point. Looking back at him, she stared there for a moment before speaking. "Are you prepared for the day I die?" She asked simply, her gaze taking on a sadder look. He would live forever, but in doing so would have to watch Riatha grow old and her life eventually end. The premise of death itself did little to bother her, instead, now she felt a small amount of worry for how he'd fair once she was gone. "If so, then I will stay with you until I can't any longer." She concluded, her body beginning to feel warm. No longer did she feel the frigidness of being alone in the desert. It had been replaced with the warmth of company she never would have imagined her having. He was in all ways her superior, and yet he viewed her as a potential mate? This didn't make sense. Then again, the mare had heard from more than one equine that love never really did.

His orbs turned and gazed over to her. Perking his thorns high on his head as he heard her question fall into his thorns. Filling his minds with thoughts of what might happen when she does die. Would he go insane and not dare fall in love again? Or should he hope and pray that maybe she would become a God and stay with him forever. With his orbs looking around in thought before more words came into his thorns once again. Letting his eyes turn and look towards her with a soft smile upon his mug as he gazed into her orbs. Letting his head motion towards her as he touched her shoulder gently. "I am ready for when that happens and when it happens I will always have you planted in my thoughts and they will never leave there. For you will be imprinted into my mind and soul for ever. Till this world ends and us Gods and Goddess are whipped from our own creations." He said with a soft smile upon his mug as he was glad to see that she seemed to lighten up. That she seemed to have more of a life inside of her figure than just the fear that she was truly hiding behind and now she was out and about with a stallion like Styrr.
