Aviah sighed. She was so lost, dizzy, and confused. As she sighed a small patch of vines grow on a tree. This was her mother's forest. The only reason she knew Aiyana was her mother was because of the dream she had. She saw and chatted with her mother for a bit. The one thing that the mare was clueless about was that she was immortal. So if she joined a herd, she'd watch the older members die and she would still remain. Her mother said nothing to her. And Aviah had no clue. Maybe it was for a reason, maybe not.
As the mare continued to trot on through the forest small little fairy trumpets grew underneath her hooves. She didn't know how to control her powers yet, but was trying to learn. She was utterly confused about everything. She was so much more different then other horses. She was half goddess, half mortal. She didn't know another soul that carried the same burden as her. She bit her lip and felt a tear run down her cheek. A white rose appeared with all the grace and beauty of the mare herself. All of a sudden she started sobbing loudly. No one was here to see her right? And even if it was a stallion he would try to comfort her right? She watched as a whole bush of white roses appeared before her, and kept coming.

Shadow-The Lamb
Strong and steady steps from massive hooves sounded behind the sobbing mare. She was different, like him. He sensed it, just like Shadow knew exactly where he had to go to find her. His deep voice was soothing and perfectly calm with peace and love, "My dear, why are you crying? There is no reason to cry. Come now, everything is not lost. Whatever is wrong?" In fact Shadow already knew, it was the same with the Lamb. He was different.
The Lamb just had to have the mare admit it to herself and accept it.

A snuffle came from the maiden as she looked at the stallion that approached her. One last crystalline drop fell down to the ground and an ivory rose bloomed up to caress her nose. Aviah laughed softly and turned to the ebony beast the flower softly clenched between her teeth. "Here, take this. For being a pure heart that stopped to comfort a little old mare like me." Sweet but shy lyrics flew gently through her lips. Aviah's violet orbs took in the obsidian stud and her wings shuffled idly against her ribs. "I.. I don't know. Just look at me, with wings and strange peacock feathers growing from my skin and the ability to make roses appear from the ground with my tears. I am so strange, different. That is why my father did not want me. This is why I am here. But look at you, so handsome and normal." That had to be the longest phrase the fae had said at once, that was the only way to explain it. Sorrowful royal purple eyes looked at the ground, she not wanting to risk looking into his eyes.

Shadow-The Lamb Rise holy fire, burn bright, burn bright Rise with a shout, cry out for freedom
Shadow smiled a knowing smile, "How do you know my Father did not make me look like a normal horse? You see, I was sent here for a purpose, one that only the Gods and I know." Shadow gently picked up one of the rose-tears with his teeth, placed it back on the ground and blew ever so softly. The rose grew bigger and became the purest of whites while at the same time light from within the flower grew brighter and brighter until the Lamb whispered, "Stop."
"My body is the only thing that is mortal inside me. Now don't fret anymore, dear sister. You are not alone and that was only a taste of what the Gods have provided me with." The Lamb spoke in his deep and calming voice, already walking away but as he did so he called out to the mare, "Well, are you ready to follow me?"

The stallion spoke wise words and spoke lightly. With a faltering smile she lifted her chin and looked at him through miserable velvet eyes. He placed her rose back into the ground and accelerated it's growth and made it bloom with a blinding radiant light. A look of awe captured the mare's face within seconds. The ebony stud coaxed it to stop and before her stood an excellent modification to her own creation. Wonder struck eyes now surveyed him and Aviah rose to her feet.
With a soft sigh of her own the petal extended towards the ground and turned into scarlet hues. Vines sprout up the steam of the flower and provided extra thorns. By the time she was done playing with her powers the stallion started to walk away. "At least you are blessed enough to have a mortal body. But I do appreciate your kind words. My mother, Aiyana, would be pleased to know I had met a kindred soul such as your own." Soft lyrics came from her ivory lips and a grin perched upon her kissers for but a moment before she turned to follow the stallion. With a couple claps of her wings she flitted over and brushed up next to him. "So dear brother, might I ask who has blessed you with such powers? Which god's blood runs through your veins?

Shadow-The Lamb [/u] Once again I'm gonna shake everything that can be shaken Once again I'm gonna break everything that can be broken Pain entered his eyes as he took in Aviah's words, flashes of his future payment entered his mind. "That is where you are wrong, my dear, but fret not for we all will be tested whether we are mortal in body or not and it is up to you to decide if you will pass the test." Shadow continued to walk forward, keeping his eyes ahead of him while he talked. "Aiyana has a kind soul and you share it. Never forget the power of kindness and gentleness, for that is how we must live while showing love to everyone all the while."
The Lamb stopped for a breath of a second and looked at her a knowing look in his eye, "That I cannot tell you but if you figure it out then share it with everyone." Shadow continued walking, "Tell me more about yourself, my daughter." [/blockquote]
