Svatur [/u] I'll be by your side, wherever you fall In the dead of night, whenever you call So please don't fight, these hands that are holding you The God of Death watched Aiyana work silently, helping her when he could by moving his wing. "I care about you too, Aiyana." He watched as the vines grew thicker and stronger, as they wound through the feathers of his wing and wrapped around his neck. The sling the Goddess of Plants had made was already wonderful simply because she made it for him. Now that the wing was properly in place and folded up while being supported by the sling, Svatur sighed in relief from the pain. "Thank you, my dear. That...feels so much better."
He smiled and rubbed his cheek against her shoulder while she was nibbling his mane. "You helping me heal and creating this sling is payment enough, not that you needed to repay anything." But at the mention of his work and the souls calling to him only reminded him that he was stuck here until his wing at least got better and that wouldn't happen for a few days. The souls would build up, their voices getting louder and louder, more demanding to be taken. He was able to let that go for a few weeks at a time though without Dasan getting too mad. And if he needed a longer break then Dasan would normally take over for a bit. But absolutely ignoring his work would drive him insane quickly. He could be uncomfortable for a few weeks though for Aiyana, "I need to get all healed up before I even think about ferrying the souls again. Maybe we can talk to Dasan, explain what happened?" Aiyana nodded, agreeing that talking to Dasan would be wise. "I'm sure he'll understand." She assured, wondering how long he'd be able to ignore his work before it got the better of him. Souls waiting to be carried over must be very demanding, she thought, for it to take such a toll on the god. Then again, she could hardly blame them. The world inbetween worlds must have been an oddity to be stuck in, and perhaps painful to those that waited around too long. To be amongst mortals but to never interact with them would be maddening. Looking back out into the forest, Aiyana smiled. The rain had calmed into a more pleasant storm, watering the plants and trees. The forest was happy, and when it all ceased the goddess would be there to replace the tree that had fallen. "Rest for now, darling, and we'll venture to see Dasan when the rain ceases." Aiyana rested her head in such a way that her neck crossed his whither and her cheek lay on his shoulder. So comfortable was she that if life had allowed it, the mare wouldn't have moved for anything. The goddess felt closer to him than she had anyone else, even the stallion who had helped her give life to her daughter: Aviah. In the quiet her mind wandered to her daughter, almost sadly, as she pondered how she was doing. The goddess had always provided what she could for her from a distance, but in return had lost any mother-daughter connection they may have had.

Svatur See the beautiful lover, Changing lives
Svatur listened to Aiyana's soft words, the way she said them and tone made him instantly relax and feel at peace. He could ignore the souls when he was with her, which was a blessing for him. The God settled down more, well to the best of his ability, and found a comfortable position for now that actually allowed him to breath easy and not put weight on his wing.
After that was done, he nodded to what Aiyana was saying, already drifting off. He was so relaxed and peaceful around her. Svatur had never known that kind of peace from his work. He laid his head on her forlegs and against the mare's chest. He had one last thing to say and ask to Aiyana before he completely passed out, "Are you sure your ok?" and, "Thank you, my sweet." Then with that, he closed his eyes and was already fast asleep, not even able to wait for an answer. ooc: You wanna start a new thread with Dasan or continue with after the rain ends and them make it official?
